A new beginning

This new year has started for 31 days and lunar new year will be over in a few day's time. I want to say that my last christmas and my chinese new year were very well-spent with friends and family. :) I'd also received a very awesome xmas present from Mr Ron - the Samsung Note ^.^ I can take more pictures with him now.. cos I realised that our photos are just too little. Nice phone huh? :D

I'm looking forward to Valentine's Day.. bcos we'll be travelling to Batam over the weekend before and on that day itself, he says there'll be good food :p am wondering now if we should just do the cooking at home, I bet it'll be equally sweet and enjoying :)

I can still remember my new year resolution for last year, one of them was to be a nicer girlfriend to Mr Ron and treating him better. So this year resolution will continue on from last year, simply because he's just too nice and I can't bring myself to love him less. :)

I haven't been working for the past few months and I'm glad I made the decision to take this short break out of my used-to-be very busy life. I learn to see things differently, I take things easy, I slower down my pace. I feel the strained muscles in me have been let down, slowly. Finally, I don't have to worry that I might not hear it when the alarm bells rings off in the morning. I don't have to worry about my job the next day. Everything.. except, only my assignments.

I have been to different places observing the way people works, just wanna have an answer for the question in me, "who really feels happy during working? How?" Once, I sat in Mcdonalds, watching the staff preparing the drinks for his customer behind the counter McCafe, I can see he's happy, genuinely. I felt it.

It feels so great, when I only have to wake up when I want to, thinking of what to cook for the family later in the night, trying out new dishes that I had tried outside. Waiting for him to end work and watch tv or soccer together. If only you know how much I cherish the time I have now, doing absolutely nothing. I simply love it. :)

It is the first time I see zw cried so much and it's only now then I realised how a person can get so helpless no matter how cheerful he used to be. There's nothing much I can do for him now except to spend more time with him so that he doesn't think negatively all the time.

He made my heart sinks when he says, "I just want to be a normal person again."
I really hope he'll recover well and soon.

Zw, I just want you to know, that none of us here wants you to give up so easily. I know it's never easy to do but you know, we are always here. You can do it!

It's paradise

Finally.... I brought my dad and mum out.. finally i had my words came true.. I brought them to this very nice dim sum restaurant located at ion - Taste Paradise Restaurant. The food is really nice.. I came to know this place cos my bosses brought us there & I was determine to intro my dad since he really like dim sum..

some of the must-try food are: XO sauce carrot cake (despite ex, 1 small plate ~ $8.00, the size is about half a normal packet of carrot cake), the crispy pork belly, custard bun (Signature dish). Well.. the rest of the dishes that I didn't mentioned are nice too or rated slightly above average from me :)

Birthday is coming.. I have no idea how and where to celebrate.. I'm glad ah jia's bdae is near mine as he has loads of ideas.... he does the planning and organising.. haha :) I'm not trying to shrink from my responsibliy but he really has got more crazy ideas than I do. I need the zest from him to make it a more fun-filled day. :D Oh no.. I don't feel young anymore :(

Dear brought me to Kazbar for dinner for an early valentine's celebration. It's near Cuppage, just behind Centrepoint mall. We were told that this bar serves really nice lamp meat and true enough the lamp chop and shish kebab that we ordered were reallii nice.. :) For those who don't eat lamp meat can give a try before giving the same conclusion yah..?

I almost forgotten that I have a blog...

Hmm quite busy recently with both school work and work. Taking finance accounting and biz law this sem.. It's really not easy.. Hopefully i won't flank these modules.. I'm going to work hard! Word is cheap.. but I'l try.. cos these are $$ .. so expensive.. Sometimes I'm really happy that Zhenwei is studying the same time as me.. Cos he'll acoompany me through the journey back home and we will checked with each other when we both took the common modules.. It's really.. encouraging.

I'm so busy that I don't even have time to visit my dental.. I need to find time for it.. CNY is good.. spent the days fully.. meeting up friends and gathering is fun.. come to think I haven't meet shan for a couple for months le.. Christina Seet....! I miss you too.

Well.. I need to handle time better I think.. finding solution in the process.. Jia you.

A good start for the year

It's my first post of the year. :)

It seems like it's a long weekend for me. I felt so rested even though I slept so little during this weekend. I think that's probably because it was a very enjoyable weekend for me. Spent the night over at RWS Hotel Michael to celebrate fab & lynn's bdae. Went USS again with them and took loads of photos.. It was indeed an aweome weekend after a long time. :D

Just came back from fifteen minutes cafe located in LaSalle College hours ago. It's the second time I went there and food seems nicer this time round.. Ermm.. I can say.. much nicer.. haha. The udong shrimp salad in miso sauce is highly recommended~ yum yum.. introduced by Mr Hee, who insisted to walk there despite the rain and the fact that we only have one small umbrella with us. Anyway, I think it's worth the trip since I personally think that the food is above average rating from me :)

Btw, here's my resolutions for this year:
1) Be nicer to my dear boyfriend
2) To start exercising

I'm really going to work hard for these!

We did things in the unusual way today.. :)

We went Hougang Ave 8 to have Bak Kut Teh for dinner.. We bought paint spray.. We strolled to Hougang Green, a place I have not been for years to look for bubble tea which we came to know has closed down. I believed that happened years ago.. It's only that we didn't know.

Then we went home to spray on those rusty chairs to give them a new look, to my surprise it wasn't quite bad. I thought of just throwing those chairs away and replace them with new ones. He insisted it could be "re-newed", and true enough it did. :)

Tomorrow me and bro will be bringing grandma for yum cha, to a restaurant we used to visit when we were kids, when dad used to bring us there. Now it's our turn to bring grandma there.. I'm looking forward.. Afterwhich we will go shop for christmas gifts! :)

Think virus's passing fast recently.. After my two days MC on Monday & Tuesday, my sis's bf and bro got MCs too. Take good care my friends out there..

Exam was over and I'm trying to list down the things I want to do before the sem starts again. I was thinking of.. Jogging? shopping for christmas gift? or catching up with friends? Hmmm... before the second choice comes in I should have prayed hard for a good bonus this year yah?? :p

For friends whom I have not met for sometime, I'm doing good so far.. Mr Ron has been nice and sad to say I'm always the one to bully him.. Hahaha.. For those who have been meeting up with me know this :p Both work and study is still at a managable rate for me :)

Christmas decor is up at town area, still as pretty as in past. Christmas is always one of my fav festive :) I'm looking forward to it.

Wow.. Yesterday was my first time I drove on the road after I'd obtained my driving license.. of cos I need my bro and Mr Ron to be around.. Haha I was very blur for the first time since it was 3 months ago I last drove a car.. I used my left leg to step on the brake pedal..! It' a big NO-NO in driving.. lol cos I am used to step on the clutch pedal since I took up manual driving.. Anyway I managed to bring myself and the both of them safely from my place to Mcpherson and from there to kovan.. :) *Applause*

For the first time

It's the first time I attended a church wedding today, I'm the bridesmaid for the first time.
It was a super-packed day. I could hardly breathe to take a break.
Despite the hardwork and sweats.. I know it was nothing when I saw her smile and felt so touched. :)

I totally agree with hui that studying isn't easy especially when you're still working..
You gotta work on assignments when you are beat tired after work..

Suddenly it reminds me of my poly days.. where weekends are meant for work and no leisure and not being able to spend time for myself.. But i believe i had enough of own time already because 2 years of break after graduation from my poly supposed to have 'charge' me fully.

Finally after 3 months, I met up with DFs again.. Went to Vivo for Woon Tik's birthday last night. Thank goodness that I don't have to work if not I believe I would have been gossiped by them again.

Had been busy with work and assignments lately. Sometimes I like to work night shift because I can use the time to study in my room while monitoring the patient.. Sometimes, I just don't feel like going for my night shift for weekends are very precious to me. But overall my new job scope are pretty fine with me as colleagues here are really nice people.

Started my night classes with Zhenwei and so far assignments haven't been easy. I wished I can be more disciplined so that I can sit down on the self-scheduled time for study.

4 years of study might seem long.. but I believed I can do it. :)
Need to get a lappie for myself soon, can't tolerate being rushed to complete my stuff for his leisure time.

Finally!! After a few months of hardwork and "investment", I passed my driving test for the 2nd attempt! :D It's really very dreadful for me to go for my lesson after work because firstly it is tiring and secondly, it is definitely costly. But anw.. I Passed!!

I got enlisted into Unisim for my part-time course in business. Will be starting school soon. I hope I would still be able to catch up ya.. Hmm..

I need my luck still for tomorrow, I need to find my equipment back. It went missing after my sleep study test on Wednesday morning. We only discover it today. :( Please... I hope it is hiding somewhere I can find tomorrow when I'm back in office.

Went shopping with shan, fang & hui today in town. I could have spend less. :|

What am I doing here early in the morning? Haha I'm keeping myself awake because I'm on night shift today. Yeah I'd started my night shift last week and it's pretty challenging for me because I'm someone who needs my sleep in the night. I'm sure Dfs know that.. Lol..
Attended a 3-day sleep study course over the weekends.. I'm glad that my company sent me there, it was a good exposure for a new start of my job. I get to know people from different places whose jobs are somehow related to mine. I was pretty drained out as it was a full-day course for those 3 days.

When I woke up yesterday, I decided to take a half day off from my work in the noon, but I was held-up in the office and I stayed through the normal office hour..

Arh.. I miss DFs, when is our next meetup? I wanna know what's everbody doing now.. knowing some of them already ORD. Cs's birthday I guess..? Hope his birthday celebration doesn't clash with Mr Ron's.. I wanna turn up for both. Hmm..

We bought a cup of bubble tea from KOI before we head to the zoo yesterday. Their presentation for a cup of bubble tea really impressed me. There was actually more to just the picture that I took, but accidentally I shook the nicely layered Mocha before I could take a picture of it. c|:

We were just right infront of the main entrance at Singapore Zoological Garden but we weren't granted to enter. Mr Ron did not bring his staff pass along with the corporate card, he thought it wasn't required. :(

But I guessed it was just not our day..

We left Mandai disappointedly and decided to head to AMK for a movie - The Back-Up Plan. Sadly it's not showing at Cathay AMK... Eng Wah Amk..

We gave up

Headed to Bishan to shop around. On our route there we saw this car plate no. 1115 which is our friend's birthday whom we were talking about minutes ago. So we went to try our luck at this lottery point but didn't get to buy in 1151, 1511, 5111.

Then we headed to Fairprice there because we decided to cook lamb shoulder for dinner.

Still, couldn't get my rosemary, so I gave up and switch to use black pepper sauce.

So happily back home. While I was cooking at 7pm, Mr Ron on the TV and realised the no. 1151 came in consolation. It was indeed a relief to know the no. didn't came in first.

It's the 2nd week with the new management. The new doctors here are extremely nice; so much so that I told some of my friends that I'm not used to it. How silly can that be? It's only when you think back of the days..

Now, it's no longer the crowded clinic where you have squeeze into the entrance. There is no longer the busy nurses/CA, the frustrating patients. What came were the smiles and greetings from the doctors, colleagues & of course, the shocking patients on the other side of the phones.

I just hope that things will start to pick up from today..

Last Friday is a simple but fun evening with zhenwei playing pool and mj together with ron and bro.

Last Saturday is our primary school gathering. :) This time we went KTV at Scalet City @ AMK. Experienced the tiniest tipsiness.

Last Sunday had a short badminton session before I rushed down to Tampines Safra for bowling with the girls. It's pf's birthday.. :) Lactic acids is working on my right hand now.

365th day

I believe most of us swtiched on the party mood when we stepped out of the house today? I thought I would, but I didn't.

I didn't realise that today is the countdown day to 2010.
Not even when I met my colleague in the lift asking me my program for the day. (thought it was a casual question)

Not even when everyone started to wish each other Happy New Year. (thought new year is round the corner)

But till I received a msg from a friend asking if I'm going for a countdown, then I realised today is the last day of the year.

That because, I carried a heavy heart to work today, it's the day I bid farewell to my bosses, to some of my dear colleagues/partners who will no longer be continuing the new contract in the new management.

On the flipside, yesterday, a farewell lunch was held at Dozo, a japanese fine dining restaurant located at river valley. Everyone was happy then due to exquisite food presented to them. Food there were really good. From starters all the way to desserts were rated at least 4/5 from me. It's the first time I tried the escargots and truffle (mushroom), hmm~ yummy!

In the last hour of 2009, I hope for a better year ahead for all of us.
May there be dawn of many new promises, hopes and dreams.

On the day before the eve of christmas, we went DOME located at Cityhall to have our dinner, it's an atas Italy restaurant which don't really carry good attitude staffs. Received a softtoy from ck. Thanks. :)

On the eve of Christmas, it was indeed a different one. Spent the evening with DFs steamboating at AMK and went for prawning after that. Like what shuhui says, it's a different exposure though I truly agree it's quite a cruel activity. Thanks for all the cards and gifts. It's soo sweet of you. :)

On the first day of Christmas, spent it with the babes and guys from poly @ Sentosa. It's a fun-filled day. After the lunch, which we'd prepared the food ourselves, we played captain's ball! It's really a wise choice to have applied the sun screen as the sun is burning our skins. Little did we know a heavy pour followed by and got us all drenched even we have our umbrellas. Settled our dinner at harbourfront and went home sweet home. It's a tiring day but it's extremely a joyful day. Thanks for the support, participations and effort for today, it's a wonderful day. :)

On the second day of Christmas, spent it with Ron, Basil, my bro & his gf. Had steamboat @ Bugis and watch Avatar. It's really a very nice movie! Definitely worth the $13 dollars of movie tickets. It's been long since I'd watch a good movie. Rating 4.5/5 from me. Thanks for the gifts. :)

Will be spending my third day of christmas with Jiahui and Jack, looking forward to the meetup later. :)

Last Saturday we had a bdae celebration for fang and yang at Orchard Central. After dinner we went to the rooftop garden, not quite a bad place there. :)

Today's yang's bdae, Happy Birthday.. :)

Yesterday was really a nice evening, especially when it's friday. Me & ck organised a primary school bbq gathering @ punggol park. Thank goodness it did not rain given this season. :D
Intially thought it would be an awkward situation when most of us haven't been seeing each other for 10 solid years. But it turned up to be a really nice evening for casual catch-up.

It was then when the boys were wearing their short pants uniform playing soccer in the field, who'd all grown up to be guys now, standing right beside the bbq pit setting up the fire.

It might be too short a time to judge, but to me, all of us seems to be only changed physically and not characteristically, just who we were 10 years back.

A nice evening, one of the most enjoyable events I'd attended for the year. :)

went to watched New Moon and personally, I like the story in the book more than in the movie. Probably because it has more details and slow reading arouses interest. Went to Alexander Road to have nice food; took a bus ride for one and a half hours to reach there -.-' Walked through a bridge linked to Henderson Waves. It's a pity that we didn't complete the journey and reached the targeted place due to unlit streets. It's pitched dark without the street lights. But still, a nice exposure.

Yesterday went around to look for mummy's bdae present. Saw a pearl necklace. It should be the one.

This morning there's an unusual incident. An old man was grabbing his chest while crossing the zebra-crossing. My dad pulled up and went forward to offer help. He said he wanted to go SGH. In the end my dad says it's a fraud. I was so worried for him when he's sitting beside my in the car, he seems uncomfortable. I can't tell he's acting. But I trust my dad on this rather than myself on this kinda thing; cos he refused to go A&E, he only want to go medical centre.

u gave that nickname to her too.. so it was not a special one then.

Yesterday's Caden's 1st birthday. We had spent a nice day at East Coast chalet; it's a pity we didn't get to cycle given the superb weather. Most of us were playing pokers, time flies and soon the sky darkened. Time for home.

Today is a tiring day. No more brain cell to elaborate more. Love fried mars bars. Makes me happy after such a day. :)

Saturday

Went to rene's place after work to help her out to fry bee hoon. Though there was no fanciful decoration, we weren't in our nice dresses, we enjoyed the time spent together. Serene is right, it's been so long since a group of us do the cooking together, it was then when we were in secondary 5, when we do our final's practical together, so nice.

Sunday

Went to catch My Sister's Keeper. It has got a nice storyline though it's not like what Bella had said, a teary movie. Or maybe it is just me, being skeptical. Haha.. Cos I do hear the 'runny-noses' in the mid of the movie. Walked back home after that, it was a long walk. A nice day.

It's seems like the things involved between us were gone. The playground, the food court, the bubble tea store, the pie store, the lift, etc.
I guess I know why, god wanted to made it easier for me to move on, & i know i did.

Just reached home from mel's place. We had an early celebration as usual.

His mum bought a tray of very very nice otak bun. I'm not really an otak person but i ate three today cos.. It's really really nice! It's a nice weekend. Spent Friday night trying out burgers. Had a very full dinner.

Saturday was Van's birthday, her 21st birthday & her fourth year anni with her boy. We had a pink chalet & I guessed this might probably be the last one before I get the chance to have another chalet any time soon. Good time flies and it was already 4am in the morning before any of us realised the little time we had in the room.

Saturday

It was a nice day. Dad woke up earlier so that he can bring me for breakfast before sending me to work. I woke mum up since the wanton mee that dad is bringing me to is really nice. Hence, both mum and dad send me off to work together. :)

Went for a dessert buffet at Orchard Ions for sock hoon's advanced birthday celebration. It's a nice experience though the staff there weren't really nice.

There will be so much changes going on in the office these last three months of the year. Zhenwei's words is so encouraging, saying I'll be wanted for sure, undoubtfully. Thanks though but this is not exactly the worry I'm having. Suddenly I feel that I need a compass in my life.

Had been very choosy about food recently. Sometimes a pastry or a some finger food will make do for a meal for me. Met zhenwei for supper last night, I managed to finish a bowl of it, that's the first bowl of food I'd eaten for the day. I ought to eat more before I start to lose weight again.

A week ago I was at Botantic Garden with ah jia and his friends. There are very amiable though it's the first time I meet them.
Bee hope there will be this kinda gathering for Destinedfriends too.

Yap Qi's right. There's nothing we can find down the memory lane. Everything just keep changing and there's nothing we can do to stop it. But that's okay.. As long as the people around are still the same.

8 days of stay here in Singapore might not be a long one. But it is definitely deeply appreciated by DFs I believe. Luckily we didn't get chased out by the boss in that Jap restaurant for having odd number of peope there. That person must have agitated the boss that day? Didn't regret applying leaves just to make sure I bring Qi there though he finds it 'not bad' only. Haha.. I find that the food is nice still, reasonably-priced too.

Finally after 3 times of postponing due to H1N1, I went for my CPR course today. Lady luck is with me, I passed both my theory and practical for the first attempt. So my next target is to obtain my driving license. Haha.. May the lady luck be with me again then.

Currently, I'm after this korean drama "Boys over flower'. I preferred this series much more than the Taiwan version which I like it alot initially. Its starry-eyed to the reality though. Like what I'd told my mum - no such thing.

A 10 cents coin that i 'borrowed' from a stranger started my day. Super super blur me left my ez-link card, my cash, my atm card and my key at home.

Dad dropped me at Potong Pasir MRT station & only then I realised it. Omg.. Frantically I dug all my coins and I'm 10cents short to dhoby ghaut. Left no other options I'd to asked from a passer-by, a malay lady, for a 10cents. =.= She's such a kind lady and kept asking me not to worry about it. Ha.. I can't be more blur huh.

It's been so long since I last touched my keyboard. Finally me and my family had gotten rid of the virus that came uninvited. Sorry to those I'd met before I know I'm sick. That's the shortest time possible I can go to notify.

168 hours without computer and television gave me ample time to be in my slumberland and also to catch up on my reading. Shan and me done some reflections, haha.. and both of us realised DF plays an important role in our lives. :)

Spent quality time chatting away on the phone. Hours & hours on the phone without having to worry the time that passes away because we don't have sleeping time or the showtime on the tv we have to catch. Just talk.

Thanks for all the concerns, calls and smses I'd received during the quarantine period.
My sis says I'm so lucky to have so many people around who's always so nice to me. This makes me realised that I'd taken it for granted in some point of the time. What a nice reminder. :)
However, I won't be able to return some of feelings I'd received. Sorry.

It's true that I'd learnt to be mean to you & I forgot to tell myself to be nicer when you're better in attitude after our fight last year. Let me adjust alright? :)

7 days quarantine

Bored~ shan says we're through thick and thin. Maybe not this way?? Haha.. The call on Monday night was a sudden and shocking one. Went TTSH with shan, hui, fang and hui's bf in the next half an hour since we all have the same kind of symptoms.

Since me & shan are healthcare workers, we were being isolated to another place when we reached there 12am on Tuesday morning. Tests were done and the next 6 hours were crawling by. Results shown positive for H1N1 virus. 7 days of quarantine and we can only stay in our room. But I'm really bored~! Cos bro is not ard I came out to serve net for a short while (<1hour) so that they'll be safe, my mask is on.

I feel much better than the rest w/o fever. Shan lost 4kgs for the past 2 days and she reminds to have my meals regularly. Have been taking my medications for the past few days, it makes me really drowsy, partly because I've been sleeping for the last 24 hours. I hope we'll all get well soon. God bless.

If you measure friendship this way, I can only think you're purely selfish. Hey I didn't ask you to keep yourself at home for 7 days. I didn't ask you to stay 3 metres away from us. I just asked you to stay home to avoid crowded places until when the result of that person is out & when she's safe and that only takes about a day? Then you can go out as much as you want. That is a kind of self-responsibility girl. When things turn out bad you will think that, "oh I'm glad I make the right choice to stay home." But if things turn out to be you're ok, you'll think, "You see, I told you long ago I'm fine." Yes that's my assumptions and tell me what you'll think please.

Now I finally know why I'm always the one who's involve in the quarrel. That's because I'll slap the fact hard to your face. Nobody will say that right infront of you that they are worry, is only you are not aware of & I won't sit there quietly for you to notice, it'll take forever. I can say I won't put things nicely to you and that I'm really sorry about. I wanted to talk to you but you never give me chance, and that's when our miscommunication always come. I think I'd spent my past weekends very differently. Ended up reaching home early in the morning for saturdays. Went movie, pub and supper, etc. At least I'm not home and rotting my time away, which some of my friends really don't want me to. What's so bad about staying home? At least I can save up some money right.. Haha.. The pub that cs brought me to, it's the one that I had went 2-3 years ago, girls there are so pretty..

I don't believe that my Major project (food & wine) I did during year 3 in TP train up my tolerance level for alcohol. But now I'm convinced by how much I drank last weekend. Haha.. That's good, at least I can better protect myself right..? :)

Today's father's day. The whole family including my sis's bf and my bro's gf went out the terminal 3 to eat Dian Xiao Er. There's such a long queue when we reached there, but we're surprised by the waiting time, it's less than 10mins? Though there were so many people infront of us, we went in before them. It's a nice day. :)

Next week I'll be on leave! So looking forward to it because the next PH will be only during August, that's really far.

Monsters v.s. Aliens

Last weekend I went to catch Monsters v.s. Aliens in 3D! Alright.. a pretty good experience. It's like aeons years since I use a 3D spec to watch a show.. Like when I was primary school the last time..? Haha.. But of cos the spec that has to be put on throughout the movie makes me rather uncomfortable. Not a bad movie.. Perhaps 3.8/5. =)

After the movie we went to JM's place and I watched them played Majong. Yes I watched and constantly dozing off on the sofa while waiting for them to complete the game. It's 3 o'clock in the morning when we reach his house? Haha.. Anyway, since it's a weekend, I wouldn't mind. :)

This week will be a busy week for me to catch up with some friends & I'm looking forward to. :)

Last weekend went to a Jap restaurant located in Far East Plaza. It's a small restaurant whereby they only served 15 customers each time. There are one chef and one assistant in there and of course they don't have very nice attitude. BUT, the food is really nice especially the Teriyaki! It's really worth the try. :) To get you prepared, the restaurant starts operating at 5.30pm, gotta start queueing around 4.45pm, total estimated time around 2 hours until they finished serving your food. But worth the wait if you've got the time. :D

Went Orgo Bar too. Located at the rooftop of Esplanade. Nice ambience, appealing scenary. :)

Yesterday I made a casual remark that I'm craving for sambal kang kong with cuttlefish and urged my mum to go to my grandma's place to 'steal' her recipe for that. Today, I got home and saw my mum giving me a plate of sambal kang kong with cuttlefish cooked personally by my grandma! That's so sweet and heart warming. :) My grandma just went to the hospital for her review this morning and there she managed to squeeze the time out to buy the ingredients to cook the dish for me. I guess she didn't manage to buy kang kong and she replaced it with spinach. How thoughtful she is, not to leave me feeling disappointed. I felt bad because I never have time for her, never.

I told her that I'm not going to waste my time on you since you don't deserve my effort anymore, I'm tired.

The reporters said that the people may have to be mentally prepared for the number of lives it can cost. Till now Asia is still considered safe hence no mask required to be worn during work. Msged Shan earlier on, we both know that this virus is even more dreadful than SARS, hope the situation will be under control soon.

Went for my early birthday celebrations with Jiahui and my poly gang. Were at one of the jap restaurant in the afternoon and went Bakerzin at Millenium Walk. Though the food there is average, the desserts, the ambience and the attitude of the staffs there are really nice. :) Received a free birthday cake, that's really sweet of them. :D

I have a phobia to work for the past few weeks. It's not because of the content of my work but the journey to work that make me feel this way. I'd seen that same guy who appears at the same place as I am, and the problem is, he keeps staring at me like nobody's business. That's really irritating and annoying. From the station I took my train till the place I take bus exchange to my workplace, he's there. I'm not paranoid and I'm really scared at times when he doesn't seem to be afraid when I stared back at him. He gave me that smirky smile. I'm prepared to file a police report when I have enough evidence on hand though I'm not quite sure if the police is going to do anything about it. He's getting on my nerves.

Went tea cosy with hui, fang and shan to have our lunch there today. The ambience is definitely nice, besides the deco, the place is not packed like an usual cafe (bcos it's not a usual cafe, lol). Food is ok, a rating of 6.5/10.

Both me and hui think that the movie failed to meet our expectations, or perhaps we had too much of a high hope for that movie. Went Astons @ Serangoon Garden for dinner, her boy joined us. Food were still as good, thumbs up.

About a week ago I read on this news article discussing about the number of people signing up for facebook. They labelled that the minority (those who didn't sign up) as the rebels and interpret the reason as it is an 'uncool' thing for them to join in the trend. I was like, "Huh..?? A rebel?" I merely didn't have the time to spare.

Anyway, I logged into one of my friend's account today, and find the features quite different from friendster. Lol.. I'm lost inside there. Perhaps one day I should start an account of my own and ask my very 'bitchy' ah jia to teach me from the start. Lol.. :p

Went Jumbo @ Dempsey with my colleagues 3 days ago. It's a CNY celebration with the bosses, therefore the food is certainly good. Lol.. Had their signature dish - black pepper crab, and it's superb! :p Were given a glass of red wine, it was 1/2 full and I salute to myself for having finish that glass without drunk though my face was flushed as usual, and that was a lunch.

I'm just back from from a midnight movie with my parents. Stupid me booked the wrong venue, instead of watching All's well ends well at AMK hub, I booked it at Cathay Orchard Cineleisure. -.-' Happy me was shouting, "Yeah, booked! Let's make our move to AMK" and before I turned off the screen, I saw the venue stated in my online statement written 'Cathay Orchard Cineleisure'. Oh gosh..

When I stepped out of my house I received an sms from my sis saying, "I can't fetch you guys, because we have a movie to catch later at 1am" but I read it as, "I can fetch you guys, because we have a movie to catch later at 1am" So happily I told my parents, "Oh yes! Sis says she will be bringing us there because her movie will be later" After I waited at the void deck for her for about 5 minutes, I smell a rat, lol, I re-read my sms and realised I made another stupid mistake. Thank god we still made it in time for the movie. >.<

He's mischievous yet tame, playful yet inactive, obedient yet defiant. He has got all the contradicting characters. At times he can be sitting in your laps and play the pitiful one; at times he can bites you on your finger if he's under dad's caress (because he don't need you now).

Chinese new year is arrving in just an hour's time. Sometimes festive season like this don't make me feel any happier now than how I used to be when I was much younger. During early teenage years, buying new clothes and shoes always seems like an exiting thing to do, nothing explains why it isn't the case anymore. Perhaps, we have grown up, leaving those fascinating moods to our younger ones.

Every visit to my grandmothers' houses leaves me a scary thought each year. Thinking few years down the road, chinese new year may not be as merry and as joyful as it is now, because the family tree is getting smaller, everything will silent down slowly and unknowingly. Hopefully, friends will come in place then.

I hope you'll hold me in your heart just the way I'm holding you in mine.
