We had his bdae celebration last week friday, had a nice dinner at Giraffe though the waiting time for the dishes is supppper long. Overall I'll give a rating for..

PASSED

It's a PASSED!!

Haha finally I obtained a 'PASSED' for my Basic Theory Test (BTT) after 3 months of waiting. Now gotta wait for another 2 months to take my Final Theory Test (FTT). I hope it's a one-time pass. Haha.. Once bitten twice shy.. Will study hard before the test.

Surfaced Up

A familiar voice was heard over the other side of the phone, after the clarification, then I knew it was my ex-manager who was on the line. It was so awkward for me to say, "Sorry, you are...?" instead of "Hi, Mr Lai!" which was how I used to address him the last time. Any contact getting involved with my previous employment was deleted away from my memory card including his. But somehow the embarrassment was broke up after all the greetings.

I was taken back by his call since I thought he would have forgotten about me long ago. He was thinking if I was sleeping before his call, but I guessed I disappoint him by saying, "oh no, I'm working right now". He told me things like how the new employees disobeyed his instructions and stuff like that. To put it in a kinder tone, I reckoned he knew how hard I have been trying to please him with the work loads he handed over to me. At least now I know, the effort I used to put in last time, had surface up now, it's comforting.

Hope

We're wondering, it's impermissible or it's the self willingness to shun? That's because we still care.

I went to the coffeeshop to buy my lunch before setting off to work this morning. So when I was waiting for the aunty to packet my bee hoon, I saw the uncle beside her frying mee, frying the big wok of mee with his muscular arms. He looked at me, smiled and said, "I used so much strength and effort for one packet costing only $0.80", in mandarin. Indeed, it is. I left and thank him with a smile, I really appreciate it. :)

Happy Nurses Day

After more than 2 weeks of fight with the harmful bacteria inside my body, I'd recovered! No more fever, flu, medicine; probably with the slightest cough still, other than that, perfect. Today is Nurses Day. Happy Nurses Day to Our Seet Wei Shan Christina! Work was still managable, time flies with the continuous flow of patients & the colleagues there are ok too.

A few more hours later will be shuihui's bdae. Here's an advanced bdae wishing for her. Happy Sweet 21st Birthday Shuhui! :)
