Christmas with the Princesses

This year I had my Christmas celebration with my poly usual at the Hot Pot Culture located at Marina Sqaure. Food is okay while the people there is fun and nice.. :) Enjoyed my day with them and definitely looking forward to the next, which is when one of our princesses birthday arrives on the first month of next year. :D

Looking at the first photograph, it reminded me of what one of our school mates, my friend, from Food Science said when I met her weeks ago, she said, "your clique of girls have strong characters" :)

Christmas eve

It's the eve of Christmas hours back and after the count down with DFs, we headed into different directions, because some of the guys who just booked out are dozing off at the desk. Lol.. They looked so drained and sleepy.. But thanks!!! For rushing down to the party despites all the reasons.. =)
Though it's a simple dinner, but it's a filling and cosy one (I hope). :)

Little Prince

Tomorrow will be the first month for my baby nephew, Caden Chan, which means, his birth date falls on the same day of each month as me!

He is such a sleep-lover! He only opened his little pair of eyes and greeted me when I arrived and when I was about to leave, other than that he slept all day through, I hope he won't give my cousin a hard time at night then. Lol..

Fairytale

Watched Twilight at cineleisure today. Wow.. It has a nice storyline and I like it. :) But will a human being really falls for a vampire? Hmm.. An exiciting romance which definitely needs a lot of courage to be together..

Finally I got to try the squid ink pasta at Pasta de Waraku! It tasted very squid-ky, lol.. one bite is nice but more is too much.. I doubt I'll can finish up the whole plate if I have it all to myself. Haha.. Hmm....

It seems like I'm getting further and further away from you, the further I go, the clearer I see..

Snowman

It seems as if it was a long weekend. Spent the Saturday night at yang's chalet and roaming around to see the night life of Singapore. Went Esplanade and Marina Barrage in the wee hours just because we felt the night was still young, though I'm drained, the beautiful scenary pictured as if it's the fresh start of the day. No doubt the guys were as tired as us, they gave us the lady's benefits - the 2nd storey bedroom and drove us home right to our doorsteps. :)


Sunday night was unusally a long night for me. Walking aimlessly led me to the cafe near kovan again. The soft music they were playing and singing comfort me much. Sis said, "Rain under the lamp lights seems like it was a snowy night" Cold indeed. How we wished we were hiding under our cosy bed.

Ah jia met me up this evening, seeing my cheerless face he bought me this cutie snowman to cheer me up no matter how much I tried to explain I'm ok. He says, "Remember you have someone to accompany you in this coming Christmas, this snowman in your stomach." Haha :D

3 in 1 meal

This month is a stress and busy month for the clinic as it is the school holiday. Haha, therefore a feast was planned for everyone of us. Went Royal Plaza Hotel located at Scotts Road for a high tea buffet yesterday with my colleagues. That was my breakfast, lunch and dinner. Yesterday's crowd was too busy for my breakfast and lunch, and the high tea starts at 3.30pm, hence, included my dinner. That was sooo unhealthy I know but.. haha.. It was a reimbursement from the company, so, this kinda of gathering comes every 3-4 months.
My ratings:
Ambience - 8/10
Food - 7/10
Varieties - 6.5/10 (cannot expect much from a high tea session)
Service - 7/10

After my 'meals', I went Far East Plaza alone before meeting shan and fang, wanted to look for a particular kind of design for hair clip. But.. that shop had closed down. -.-'' So sad la.. I shopped till my legs were with several blisters already but still, I can't find anything that suits to my liking. :(

Moody Sunday night

My 2 weeks of MC went by in a flash and I'm starting work tomorrow. That's so fast!
I whipped up several dishes for the three SAF guys before they booked in today, so that they will have a taste of home-cooked food in this kind of cold weather. :)
My mood is as low as those guys who gotta book-in every sunday night. Probably because I will have only to see them in the following weekend or much later. Or it might be because I'm starting work the next day. :(
Like what Zhenwei said, we have to look forward to wednesday, for him, it'll be a day to have instant noodles for dinner, as for me, it's a half day work. Hence, another two more days to book-out and it a weekend for us. :) Jia you ba!

went to the cafe located in kovan cc last night with ah jia. This is the third time that I went when the live band is there again. They used to be there every Saturday and Sunday night, but now, only on Sunday night. As usual, ah jia was late and hence I was sitting alone with the christmas tree besides me enjoying the songs. After he came, during the mid of the live band, he said to me,

My very nice friend

Went Thai Express at Marina Square to celebrate fang's belated birthday. :) We took a lot of photos today because the fourteen of us are all present again, though some did left early. Thank you fang for the very nice dinner. =) Hope you'll really like our 'cards' and present.

Best good-bye

I had came across the breakups of 2 couples these few months. They have been together for years, not because they quarrelled, not because their characters are incompatible, they broke up. The love they had is definitely indubitable. It's because of the true happiness they want their other ones to have, they chose to end their relationship in a healthy way.
I personally think that the most hurtful breakup is not when one says that you had changed to someone they no longer love, but, is saying good-bye to someone in a relationship whom you really love and really want to be with. It may be due to the unamendable background given or perhaps it lies on the different attitudes towards life in the future, they chose to put their love to a full-stop, where the beautiful memories still lies.

Lethargic Mode

The month of christmas is approaching in an hours' time. Planning should be in progress but it seems I'm lethargic and procrastinating things. I guess I would have to wait for fang to finish her exams and have her helping out in those planning. :)
2 weeks of MC is really MC. I hardly stepped out of my house from the first day till now. So.. I'm rotting, can't go out to shop for gifts and cards. :/

I'm contagious - Chickenpox :(

I'm down with chickenpox. :(
I think I infected by one of the young patients last week, I should have taken the chickenpox booster vaccination.
Doctor says adult down with chickenpox tends to be harder to cope compared to when we're younger. So she prescibes me with the more expensive antibiotics to aid me through these two weeks.
I hope it will leaves no scars.

I'm feeling pretty restless, but still, I hope I can travel down to my grandmothers' house. One of them just got discharged, while the other, going in to SGH later on for a minor surgery to have her cataract removed if i'm not wrong. It's an eye-disease for the elderly. Hmm.. Ah mas.. Don't worry! You both will be ok!

Remover

I walked into my room thoughtlessly, wanted to get my chipped nail colour removed. I was trying to remove them with the cotton wipes and then realised the colour just doesn't goes off. At first I thought the colour was too strong so I applied more remover, still, nothing came off and there was foam forming on my nails. I was puzzled & then finally I realised I used a eye-makeup remover to remove my toe nail colour.. -.-''

The Concert Band

Yesterday I went to watch a concert performed by the 'The Singapore Armed Forces Central Military Band' at Esplanade. It's a concert military band by the US marine band. Hmm.. It's a nice program after a day's work in the morning, I enjoyed. :) However, I have got no extra ticket for an to go.. Guess she would be able to appreciate the nice music much better than me. Haha.. :p

Guilt-stricken

Had been heading to the SGH last week. Grandma was admitted and was already discharged yesterday. She's fine except that she has to depend on a walking stick now temporarily. I hope she'll recovers well in no time. Ah ma jia you!!

Spent the whole morning and the noon time with ah jia at Hougang Mall eating and discussing stuffs. From the way he does things, he shows much more responsibility now! Am I too early to say that?? That'll have to see what comes out in the end, ah jia! :)

Just get to know that my bro has to stay-in in his school like during his BMIT. :( I thought I should be happy, but not as much than I thought. :/

I didn't know you guys have to stay-in now, sorry I didn't spare the time for lunch and dinner. :(

Black Sunday Morning

Expectedly, it's not a good morning to start with. I salute to my dad's tolerance as he did not flare up at me even though I was showing attitiudes and shouting most of the time. He tried to talked nicely to me again and again. But I'm really angry that my objections fall into deaf ears. How can they be so selfish?

After everything I was so angry that I left my house and went out. I headed aimlessly and ended up at fang's place with food. Her place is so comfy.. I fell asleep on her bed. Much better now, just need more time to adjust to the disliked-changes in the room.

It's Friday

went Raffles City with hui to get rene's birthday present.. Lucky the sales person still keep the reservation for me, if not it'll be a wasted trip. DFs bought a red-strips crumbler bag for her, she chose this present so i guess she'll likes it. :)

I missed my favourite tv series because I wanna to have dinner together with hui, initially thought it was the last episode already, but it will be on Monday. So, still be able to catch the ending.. so nice :)

Happy Occasion

Today is a very special day for my friend - Siti! It's her wedding day.. Congratulations!! :D She looked so stressed/tired/nervous/happy throughout the whole ceremony. In short, her face is full of happiness, especially when she saw the groom walking towards her to ask for her hand.. So sweet~ Haha pei yan's face is full of envies and was thinking to get married soon! Lol.. Anw, hope she gets a good boyfriend for herself soon.. :)

Taurus

Has got this very interesting horoscope thing from ronnie, he sms-ed me while he's reading that book. Lol.. All about Taurean.. For Ah jia too. :D

I had a few rounds at the stadium given the perfect weather with no sun and rain. :) Timing wasn't a bad one even though I haven't been running for more than a month.

Had steamboat with my friends at novena. It's an early birthday celebration for Vanessa! Happy 20th Birthday! :) Hmm.. Zhen fa serves a wide variety of seafood. Worth a try!

Went Great Vine with shan. She was rather in a lousy mood hence I went for a drink with her despite the late hours and tiredness. We ordered 1 jug of Stella Artois, I had a cup, while she finished the rest. She's quite a drinker. Haha..

8th October 2008
Took my Final Theory Test (FTT). Guess what?! I had a one-time passed!! Haha.. Indeed once bitten twice shy, I dare not relax far too much few days before the test like what I've done during my basic theroy test. :p The 'failed' sign appeared infront of the screen gave no nice feeling.. Anw.. I'd PASSED!

This day is also the very first day I held a one-month old baby in my hands. It looks so fragile in both my stiff hands & I dare not have very much movement. Lol.. It's very heart-warming. :)

Eve

It's now almost 2o'clock in the morning and I'd just stepped home and took my shower. I thought I'm the last or the second last to step home.. But when I opened my bedroom door I saw no one in. Mum must has been so lonely at home just now.

Hmm today is an unusual tuesday night where usually I should be in my dreamland already. But.. it's the eve of a holiday! So.. I went out with my friends after work to have nice food and movie. Watched 'Mirror' and there were a few horrifying scenes that I don't dare to see. Scary~ Haha.. It's been a long time since I watch a horror movie.

Ashton is a good place for food because I think they serve reasonably-priced items. Ambience and quality are rated above normal for me. Worth a try.. :)

There's heavy rain everywhere tonight, lucky me to have brought an umbrella with me when I was thinking to leave it at home this morning before leaving for work. :) So, saved me and ph from getting really drenched.

Though my stomach was pretty filled with food, I had a bowl of soup noodles for supper due to the cold weather. I reckoned it could keep me warmer since I do not have my sweater around with me.

Hmm.. Though it was a rather a tiring day after a day's work, I still felt very happy now because I spent time with them again.. :)

yh asked me to jog with him tomorrow late morning, I wished to.. but I don't think I'm able to wake up that 'early' since it a non-working day! I wanna sleeeep MORE..! Haha.. :p

My Weekend

My weekend ended on a very pleasant note last week. :) I felt I'd fully utilized my time because I woke up very early. Haha.. & we celebrated sock hoon's bdae in Equinox under her boy's meticulous plan. After we left the place, we went Marina Square to have our high tea. Haha.. Yes, we.. the usual, dfs.

Have been quite busy recently and seriously, I really don't know what i'm busying with also.. Haha.. Discovered something and I felt it so heart-warming.. :D Wanna made it known to her soon.. Hee..

Had put on some weights recently.. Haha.. Approximately about 2kg? Ya.. Haha.. cos patients there are so friendly and generous with their gifts - FOOD! :D

Time passed so fast and we're all in our twenties.. I hope I can stop the time before we realised it's too late for us to enjoy our youth life.

My Super Nice Dad

I have a very nice dad. He never points fault at me infront of my mum and siblings no matter how wrong i was in. He will always side me, which makes me feel very comforting. I like the way he takes my opinion in most of the things. I like the trust my parents gave me. :) Sometimes i don't mean to sound harsh or be angry with him. :p Sorriee.. :)

I was standing behind the window trying to catch the backview of my dad walking towards the coffeeshop just now. That reminds me of how i did the same thing when i was very young when my mum or dad went for their work and waved hard to say goodbye. I love them..

Heart Scanning

I had a very fun experience in the cardiology room just now after my work ended. I had my friends and colleague to help me try out the scanning for my heart. Though the results might not be really accurate, but i can see clearly the structure of the heart including the valves and arteries. :) I have a healthy and normal heart by the way.. Haha.. One of these kind of scanning usually cost around 300 bucks. So, it's free of charge now.

I came across a very interesting sentence from a cute poster.. It says, "God, if you can't make me slimmer, than please make my friends fatter."

Birthdays

Today is my sis Birthday! Happy Birthday Sis.. :)
Tomorrow I was invited to 4 birthday celebrations.. But I can only choose to go for one or maybe two of those.

I bought a star-shaped necklace for my sis.. I like it quite alot, hope she does too.. Tomorrow will be a tiring day for me.. Have to work in the morning, come back home to change and have dinner with my family then go to shan's chalet at night.. I guess I'll definitely be the first few to doze off.. Haha.. I'm looking forward to seeing u guys tml.. :)

RUN

A very unusual thing happened yesterday.. Me and my 2 other friends were being locked out of the clinic yesterday after work with our bags still inside.

The 3 of us went to the next door clinic doing some work requested by the doctor, however, he thought we had left since it was already halve past five in the evening. He locked the door and left, leaving our belongings, essentially our wallets, handphones etc inside the clinic. For the moment we were quite lost, after a short period of time, we ran to the carpark to try our luck to see if his car is still there. Thank god we were earlier than him, he hasn't reach the carpark at that time! :)

I can't really say I was scared and lost at that moment, in fact i'm quite excited and find joy in it.. Running like crazy to chase after the key the doctor took with him.. That really brightened up my day. :D Haha.. Somehow it'll be an unforgetable day.

Hasn't been going home on time recently. Though my work ends at 1700hr, mean time i get to reached home only around 2100hr. That's tiring...
