Heard over the news last night and then I got to know how fatal this swine influenza virus can be. The reporters said that the people may have to be mentally prepared for the number of lives it can cost. Till now Asia is still considered safe hence no mask required to be worn during work. Msged Shan earlier on, we both know that this virus is even more dreadful than SARS, hope the situation will be under control soon.

Swine flu outbreak

Due to the flu virus outbreak recently, our company wanted us to take our flu vaccine and I took mine today. I hope the virus clears away soon and pray hard for those who are not in Singapore to be safe and sound.

Badminton session was arranged for tomorrow. My arms are aching from the jabs. I hope I'll still be able to play a good game.

why did I feel that way?

My 22nd on the 22nd

I spent most of my time today at Orchard Heeran. Had Shokudo for lunch and Fish & Co. for dinner. I was made to stand on the chair because that's how they celebrate customer's birthday. Of course I made ah jia to stand with me for making me so embarassing. :p

Birthdays will become meaningless w/o you guys by my side. Today is a special day. :)

The key shaped necklace

It's the last hour where I can put on my key shaped necklace rightfully. That is one of the present I like most when I received it last year. Received another ang bao from 2 of my friends. Lol.. It feel so much like CNY.. Is it that we'd grown up and money seems more practical? I dunno.. Feels weird really.. Perhaps I'll use those money to buy something and take it as present from them.

18 Again

I blown out 18 candles on my birthday cake yesterday. Ah jia says, he's going to only give me 18 candles every year, self-deceiving huh.. :p

Before meeting the rest at White Tangerine, went City Hall to shop around for my present with Basil, Ah jia and shan, bought nothing cos nothing in mind. Hence, received a big ang bao from DF, thank you guys. :D

Went to watch 17 Again at cineleisure. It's a nice show. :)

It's my 22nd

Went for my early birthday celebrations with Jiahui and my poly gang. Were at one of the jap restaurant in the afternoon and went Bakerzin at Millenium Walk. Though the food there is average, the desserts, the ambience and the attitude of the staffs there are really nice. :) Received a free birthday cake, that's really sweet of them. :D
